The Lebanon Tourism Office in Paris, part of the Ministry of Tourism (MOT), has been mandated with the promotion of tourism to Lebanon in Europe. Nada Sardouk, Director General of MoT, said that the office handled earlier cultural and diplomatic activities but will be tasked with adopting strategic campaigns to promote the country.

“The office is celebrating its gold jubilee, this year, making it even older than the ministry itself. It is about time to restructure and reformulate its tasks, so it could help and complete our touristic approach.”

The office will develop its activities in 2015. It will start with the preparation of exhibitions and conferences in Europe, on behalf of the MoT. “We used to hand this task to private companies. Now that the office responsible for this, we will be able to save time and money, and reach specific goals.” She said that with this step, the office will be able to benefit from the financial support of the ministry.

According to Sardouk, the office will adopt the same ‘Live Love Lebanon’ promotional campaign.
