BouBouffe International, owner of local Brasserie BouBouffe, will begin a 30-year expansion plan as of the third quarter of 2015 starting with two outlets in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi.

The company signed an Area Development Agreement with Addmind, the management group behind several hospitality businesses, including White, Iris and Indie, among others.

“The contract was signed on January 5, 2015 and we will start our expansion plan in the UAE,” said Michel Aramouni, General Manager and owner of BouBouffe. Aramouni said that his company did not consider franchising before now because they hadn’t found the right partner.

Through this agreement, Addmind will act as franchiser, responsible for developing the brand in the UAE. It will pay franchise and royalty fees to BouBouffe and both partners will share the profits.

Aramouni said that two branches will open in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi this summer. The company will then move to KSA and other MENA countries. The plan calls for four outlets in Dubai and two in Abu Dhabi. "BouBouffe International intends to develop its brand BouBouffe in KSA then London in the near future with an eye on Asia to follow,” he said.

BouBouffe was established in Ashrafieh in the late 1970s and has been well known for its grilled sandwiches ever since.
