“This is triggered by the real estate and construction boom witnessed in the country over the past few years,” said Messe. Over $1.8 billion worth of mega-construction projects were launched in Lebanon in 2009.

"The healthy demand for property has triggered the boom in construction projects, which has subsequently boosted the demand for carpets and flooring solutions in Lebanon,” said Angela Schaschen, managing director, Deutsche Messe Dubai Branch.

Messe said that the event will give developers and buyers from Lebanon the opportunity to discuss new projects with leading international and regional brands and specialists in flooring solutions.

The event will be held from 10-12 May 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
