The Eagle Crest Resort is being developed in the Chewye district of Chabrouh, Faraya by businessman Jean-Pierre Gebara and shareholders Rami Sami Madi, Antoune Khalil Saade, Nicolas Jean Fadel, Antoine Jean Fadel and others.

“The planned resort is located in an area still undiscovered and whose land sale prices are relatively low,” said Gebara. “The design is traditional and eco-friendly,” he said.

Eagle Crest will occupy a 28,000 square meter land plot, which will include 22 Lebanese-style, two- and three-bedroom homes, within a resort concept. It will also include a pool and a restaurant. The units, which will be furnished and serviced, will be put up for rent to area visitors. The operation will be outsourced to a local management company, Gebara said. Investment will be $7million to $10 million, including the land cost.

The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in two years, including half the units, the F&B outlet and the pool. The remaining units will be completed a year later. The project is currently in the licensing phase.
