Crystal Networks Holding (CNH), a HOLCOM group affiliate, acquired 80-85 percent majority equity in Corporate Solutions and Services (CSS), on March 20. CSS will remain an independent entity within the holding.

Kamel Salloum, founder of CSS and former ITG (Group HOLCOM) manager, will remain the General Manager of the company.

According to Salloum, this move represents a leap for CSS and its clients, knowing the group’s market reach, credibility, and large portfolio of services. “It will strengthen our focus on protecting the long-term technology investments of our clients, by ensuring quality, reliability and value,” he said.

According to Johnny Saad, Chairman of CNH, the acquisition will be followed by a strategic regional expansion plan. CNH has offices in Jeddah and Riyadh. “We are currently discussing the possibility of establishing a presence in Qatar and Iraq,” he said. The expansion will be horizontal and will tackle new markets successively.

Established in 2014, CSS provides integrated IT services. It has achieved over $700,000 in sales in only a few months. Its portfolio includes solutions covering several segments: Storage systems, data protection, servers, network, and infrastructure management. The company partners with major IT brands, including Microsoft, EMC, Cisco, and VMware. “CSS is specialized in storage and virtualization and by acquiring it we aim to complement our product range,” said Saad.

CNH is a local company established in May 2005 to serve the MENA region. In 2006 it branched out to Saudi Arabia to serve the expanding need of that market.
