Atelier Assaf, a stone sculpture museum in Warhanieh (Chouf), will open this summer, offering lectures and workshops on clay sculpting.

The project is being developed by Assaf, Mansour, and Aref Assaf, who are also the contractors and museum sculptors.

The $1 million project (excluding land cost) has a space of 10,000 square meters. The built-up area is 500 m2, partially financed by a loan from Kafalat. It will include workshops and a cafeteria.

The sculptures represent literary and art figures including characters like Farid El Atrache, Mikhail Naimy, Hassan Alaa Eddin (Chouchou), Kamal Jumblatt, and others.

The entrance fee will be set at $10 per person, with discounts for school and university students.

The next phase of the project will include an amphitheatre, a gallery, and cabanas.
