Family entertainment center in Cascada Mall

Terra Magica, an indoor theme park and family entertainment center will open in Cascada Mall, Bekaa by the end of 2015 or early 2016.

“The entertainment center will open at the same time as the mall, which depends on the finalization of the stores, the anchor tenants and brands,” said Mariam Akkou, Communications and Business Development Specialist.

Terra Magica is an Italian brand with 30 years of experience in entertainment parks and attractions. “Terra Magica has chosen Cascada Mall as its first destination in the region,” Akkou said.

The center has a space of 5,000 square meters. It offers diverse games, rides and activities, ranging from bowling to bumper cars, roller coasters, and kids’ playgrounds. The center also caters to events and birthday parties. Investment in the project is $8 million. “Like any other tenant of the mall, Terra Magica rents out the space from Cascada Mall and runs its own operations,” she said. She said that the Bekaa lacks such concepts and the entertainment zone is a good investment opportunity.

Cascada Mall Bekaa is part of Inter Mall Group, with 30 years of experience in real estate, master planning, and the management of regional malls and mixed use projects. It also operates mega malls in Latin America.

The mall hopes to revive the Bekaa and reverse migration of the youth. It will offer more than 3,000 direct and indirect job opportunities. The mall will host major brands including Empire Cinemas, Carrefour, and Rossonero. It will have a food court, including McDonald’s and Orfali. It will also host international brands that are making their first local appearance, such as Caffè Toraldo and fashion store Eddicott.
