The Beirut-based Maintenance Management Group (MMG), a facility management company, was awarded recently a $20 million contract by Ooredoo, Qatar’s international telecommunications company, to carry out maintenance on all its facilities starting this September.

The three-year contract with a two year extension option covers the provision of hard services to over 1,500 premises across Qatar.

“We have been established in Qatar since 2006, but this opportunity is a leap forward,” said Youssef Abillama, MMG’s Chief Executive Officer.

MMG employs 600 in technical and managerial staff and manages more than 2,000 subcontracted staff in some 900 sites and locations. It will deploy more than 150 for this project.
