Malik’s taps Chouf and Aley with three outlets

Malik's, a local bookshop, copy center, multimedia and stationery retailer, is expanding its local presence by entering the Chouf and Aley cazas.

Allam Jurdi, Franchise Director said that a 400 square meter shop will open next month in Dmit, Chouf, and a 150 m2 outlet will open in Kabrechmoun, Aley. “This area is in high demand. We believe that these two outlets will serve a large number of clients.” The Dmit outlet’s franchisee is Al Dammam company, owned by Nassib Fayad and his brothers. Investment in the branch is over $300,000. The Kabrechmoun branch’s franchisee is Imad Abou Mosleh. Investment is around $200,000.

“Another branch is expected to open in Aley and Mansourieh, as we have already signed a letter of intent with the franchisee,” Jurdi said.

Malik’s started its operations in 1988. It has more than 30 branches, including standalone stores in Abraj, Antelias, Bliss Street, Verdun, Jbeil, and at LAU and NDU universities, supermarkets, and malls.
