Tamar Lebanon, a manufacturer of chemical products for purifying and treating water machines and pipes, will establish its factory in the industrial zone of Saida, in early 2016.

Khalil Habli, General Manager, said: “We are the first industrial company that manufactures these products in the market. We brought the technical knowhow for this industry from Australia.”

Investment in the project is estimated at $1 million. The factory will have a built-up area of 500 square meters. It will create around three full time jobs.

The production capacity of the factory is 300 tons per year. Habli said that the company will target factories that produce juice, as well as hotels and restaurants that have water treatment machines, boilers, and steamers. Habli said that the company will send an expert to train customers on how to use the product.

Tamar Lebanon will export part of its production to Arab countries.
