US grants $20 million in food coupons for Syrian refugees

The Embassy of the United States in Lebanon announced that the US will grant $20 million for the World Food Program (WFP) in Lebanon.

This grant supports people harmed by the Syrian turmoil and provides food coupons to Syrian refugees.

WFP has contributed$1 billion in contributions for refugees in Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, and Iraq since 2013.
