Royal Mall, a mixed use commercial center, is under construction in Ainab, the Aley Caza. It is expected to be operational by 2018.

The commercial center will be part of a four-building development, three among which will be residential. Royal Mall will be built on a 5,000 square meter land plot. The total built-up area will be 9,000 m2, out of which 5,000 m2 will be dedicated to the shopping facility. The shopping center will stretch over seven floors, two of which will be underground. It will have 17 retail stores, two showrooms, and 15 offices and clinics.

The project is owned by Century Trading & Contracting, a real estate company owned by Ghassan Rafeh and Kamil Sarieddine. The company is also the project’s contractor. It is being designed by Architecture & Engineering Office (AEO).

Investment in the project is over $7 million, including the land price. The commercial center alone will cost over $2 million.

According to Rafeh, the area lacks shopping outlets. The nearest shopping area is either in Kabrechmoun or Aley.
