The four-star Golden Tulip Jounieh Hotel is expected to open during the first quarter of 2016 in a center on the main highway that includes Exotica, Linea Verde, and ID Design.

It will be Golden Tulip MENA and Louvre Hotels’ seventh property in the local market. The management chain already runs the Golden Tulip Galleria, Golden Tulip Serenada, Golden Tulip Hotel De Ville, Golden Tulip Jiyeh Marina, Golden Tulip Lili’s in Aley, and the expected Golden Tulip Achrafieh set to open by December 2015.

The Jounieh hotel owner is Jet Group, which is owned by the Ammar family. It will consist of 60 rooms, suites and duplex rooms. The property will offer various business amenities, including meeting rooms and F&B facilities. Investment in the project is $12 million.

Amine Moukarzel, President of Louvre Hotels Group and Golden Tulip in the MENA said that they are confident that the hotel industry will see better days. “With our presence now in Jounieh, Jiyeh, Jnah, Hamra, Sodeco, Aley and Achrafieh, promoting destinations will be our main focus by offering packages to encourage internal tourism,” he said.
