Investors Adel Diab and Adnan Ayad, owners of Al’amir for Constructing and Building, will begin developing a hospital in Haret Hreik in early 2017, which will be ready for occupancy in 2019.

Investment in the project is estimated at $75 million. “We are still negotiating with banks to obtain the required investments,” said Ayad.

The owners obtained a license from the Ministry of Public Health to build the hospital. It will be built on a 5,000 square meter plot. When completed, the hospital will be made up of eight aboveground floors, four underground floors, two of which will be dedicated for parking. It will comprise 250 beds.

The medical management will be led by a staff of physicians, yet to be selected. The hospital will be managed by a specialized healthcare company.
