A new specialized hospital, named the Fadi and Mark Kameel Maalouf Hospital, in Haouch El Omara, will be inaugurated in late 2017.

Investment in the 56-bed hospital, which will be dedicated to pediatrics, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and gynecology, is estimated at $8 million.

Situated on the main Zahlé Highway, it will be built on a plot of land measuring 5,000 square meters, with a built-up area of 10,000 square meters. Dar Al Amara Consultant Engineers and Designers is the architect.

Abdul Ghani Araji, owner of the company, said that construction will be launched in October, after obtaining the official license from the Ministry of Public Health.
