On Thursday, Candidate Neemat Georges Efrem who is running for the ALI president position has announced a consensual list that includes, in addition to him, 24 other industrialists.

The announcement came after industrialist, Nicolas Nahhas, who was running against Efrem, withdrew his candidacy in efforts to support consensus.

Efrem urged "all industrialists to participate in the elections day to form the required quorum for election to take place."

Efrem said that “his main goal would be creating new job opportunities for trained and skilled workers in the industry sector to improve creativeness.”
