Par Contre, owner of the food and beverage (F&B) brands BRGR.CO, PZZA.CO, and DELI.CO, will open a home-cooking concept. The concept will be in partnership with renowned chef Hussein Hadid, who is also a shareholder of Par Contre.

Located in Beirut Souks, the yet-to-be-named venue will have a 90-person capacity.

“After experiencing the market in the souks, we found that there is large demand for home-cooked food from office workers,” Karim Chebaklo, CEO of Par Contre, said.

The company is also planning to open in Naccache a delivery center, as well as two branches of BRGR.CO in Alain Hadife’s food cluster. Another branch of BRGR.CO will open in Broummana.

Chebaklo said that the delivery center will target the Metn region. “The Broummana branch will be seasonal unless we witnessed a large demand,” he said.

The company will also open its third BRGR.CO branch in London. It will be located on Baker Street.

“We are also negotiating to sell the franchise to Gulf countries,” he said.

Par Contre was established in 2010 and has F&B brands in Beirut Souks and ABC Achrafieh. Chebaklo said that the company also has plans to open branches in Jounieh and Jbeil. It employs 120 employees, and additional 30 full time jobs are expected to be created after the new operations.

Par Contre will invest an estimated $2 million locally for the new projects in Broummana, Naccache and Beirut Souks.
