Ecole Supérieure Des Affaires (ESA) in partnership with Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris (HEC), a university specialized in management, have launched a Masters in Entrepreneurship.

The program, that will start in September 2018, is supported by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. Mohamad Choucair, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, said that the chamber will provide scholarships for this program.

The program targets students interested in starting their own business, taking over an existing business or aiming to work in entrepreneurial units of larger companies. Stephane Attali, General Manager of ESA, said: “We expect the program will witness large demand.”

The Master's program was prepared by ESA under the supervision of HEC. French professors, experts, and mentors will be giving courses, as well as Lebanese experts to add a local touch.

The Master's in entrepreneurship is a one year program, but applicants are required to already hold a one year Master's in any field. Graduates from engineering, business, and IT backgrounds can apply to the program.

Choucair said: “This program will be an added value to the country.” He said that the Chamber will work with the Chamber of Commerce in Paris to create a specific building for HEC in the future.
