The Nahr Ibrahim Industrial Region will be launched in early 2018. Sakr Real Estate, a property development company will be developing and managing the project. Construction will be completed in 2021.

The company has finalized the studies and the master plan. Industrialists interested in owning or leasing land in the city will be able to book their site starting from November 16.

Investment in the project is estimated at $100 million, including the cost of the land.

Nahr Ibrahim Industrial Region measures 100,000 square meters (m2). It will be partitioned to several land plots, and will include built warehouses that can be used as factories. George Khouri, Group Marketing Director, said: “The project will contribute in reducing the operational costs of the tenants.”

It will be equipped with required infrastructure including roads, waste, water and sewage treatment, power generation, smart systems, and a business center for offices, and meeting halls. The city will also include fast food restaurants, minimarkets, and labor lodges. “It will be built according to the international standards, and similar in quality to the industrial cities in Jabal Ali and others,” said Khoury.

The region will focus on non-polluting, low-noise, light industries such as manufactured food. Industrialists have the possibility to purchase plots ranging from 160 m2 and 7,000 m2 for warehouses, and between 1,000 and 5,000 m2 for land.
