Gargour to supply municipalities 97 garbage trucks

Gargour Asia will provide 97 new trucks to a selected number of municipalities for the transportation of garbage.

The provision of the new trucks is part of a $2 million tender that the Council for Development and Reconstruction awarded to Gargour Asia.

The project was funded by the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), which has made three donations to assist municipalities affected by Syrian refugees. The vehicles project is one of several projects covered by these donations.

Selected municipalities from all governorates will receive trucks.

The trucks are Foton’s Aumark model, equipped with Cummins engines.
