Lebanon in 109th place in statistical capacity-World Bank

 Among the 12 Arab countries included in the index, Lebanon ranked in seventh place, behind Syria (6th place), Mauritania (5th place),   Algeria (4th place), Jordan (3rd place), Tunisia (2nd place) and Egypt (1st place).

Still, Lebanon surpassed Yemen (eighth place), and Sudan and Iraq which followed in ninth and tenth place respectively.

The study evaluates the ability of countries in building capacity of their national statistical systems over time, based on methodology, sourcing data, periodicity and timeliness.
