Plastic kitchenware factory opened in Bikfaya

Ste. Assaad Gabriel & Fils, an importer and distributor of household brands, has opened a plastic kitchenware factory in Bikfaya Industrial Zone.

The factory, owned by Camil and Maurice Gabriel, has a total built-up area 9,000 square meters (m2).

Investment in the project is $4 million, excluding the cost of the land.

The factory includes 11 production lines imported from Italy with several molds. It will use three tons of plastic per day as a start, and will produce 120 diversified products.

The produce will be distributed in the local market under the brand name ‘GAB’. It will also be exported to Arab and African countries.

The company has a wholesale showroom in Sin El Fil, distributing well-known brands such as Curver, and Brabantia.

The factory has created around 25 jobs.
