Ogero doubles Internet speed and consumption

The Ministry of Telecommunications said it has doubled, at no additional charge, the speed and the capacity of the Internet to Ogero subscribers in residential areas. This will continue until the end of April 2020 and could be renewed.

Imad Kreidieh General Manager of Ogero said that they have already completed doubling the quota of Internet capacity and that boosting the speed will be completed in all regions by Monday.

Kreidieh said he expects private sector Internet providers to follow suit

The ministry said that the initiative is part of national efforts to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. Its objective is to encourage people to minimize out-of-home activities.
