Cedarcom and Broadband Plus announced that they are taking legal action against the Ministry of Communication. The two internet companies accuse the ministry of causing them millions of dollars in losses that resulted from blocking their efforts to offer DSL services, a statement issued by both companies said. “A large number of private companies, as well as Ogero, have started offering the DSL service since May 2007, with an estimated 240,000 subscribers,” the statement said, “while the two companies have been denied such right.”  It said that Cedarcom and Broadband Plus have spent large sums of money on equipping switchboards with modern equipment. The two companies will seek compensation for their losses as well as for lost revenues, which amount to millions.
