The government announced a five-stage schedule to allow businesses previously under lockdown to reopen.

Stage 1: April 27
- Most manufacturers
- Agricultural enterprises
- Service providers
- Delivery providers
- Hotels
- Small shops
- Pastry shops
- Car rental businesses
- Electricity companies (EDL and Kadisha)
- Water authorities

Stage 2: May 4
- Restaurants and cafes at 30 percent capacity
- Children playgrounds
- Outdoor sports courts
- Hairdressers
- Automobile repair shops
- Manufacturers of plastics
- Manufacturers of electric generators

Stage 3: May 11
- Nurseries for under three-year olds
- Special needs institutes
- Casino and gambling at 70 percent capacity
- Car dealerships

Stage 4: May 25
- School students enrolled in official exam classes
- Higher education students
- Shopping malls

Stage 5: June 8
- Construction
- Planes and buses
- Entertainment venues at 50 percent capacity
- Bars and nightclubs
- Beaches
- Health Clubs
- Nurseries for three to six year olds
- Schools
- Technical schools
- Places of worship
- Museums
- Theatres


Events for large-size gatherings and festivals will be reopened at a later stage
