June 21, 2011- The Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) convened its third Corporate Ambassadors Program (CAP) on June 9 in collaboration with Suliman S. Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut (AUB).

The initiative brings small delegations of international businesswomen and senior executives to the Middle East and North Africa for business training and knowledge exchange.

The theme of the 2011 program is Family Business: Strategies for Management and Succession.

The event was held in partnership with the Middle East and North Africa Businesswomen’s Network (MENA BWN), Vital Voices Global Partnership, and Exxon Mobil.

The MENA BWN is a regional NGO which aims to increase opportunities for women to advance in their economies. It encompasses nearly 2,500 business professionals in 10 countries across the Middle East and North Africa.

The MENA BWN has been supported since 2006 by the US Department of State and Vital Voices Global Partnership, an international NGO that identifies, trains, and empowers emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs.
