June 28, 2011- BLOM Bank was chosen as the Best Retail Bank in the Middle East for 2011, by the Banker Middle East (CPI Financial) during a ceremony held in Dubai.

BLOM Bank is the first Lebanese Bank to win such an award.

BLOM Bank has 70 branches and affiliates in the country and 84 abroad and has continued its strong growth with assets reaching $22 billion and customer deposits $19.6 billion as of the end of 2010.

The awards, organized by CPI Financial, recognized both corporate and individual distinctions amongst top performers in the industry at an event that brought together more than 400 regional and global industry experts and decision-makers to honor excellence in the banking and finance industry.
