LIZA Beirut now open
Paris-based Lebanese diner also open in Qatar
LIZA, a renowned Lebanese restaurant founded in Paris in 2005, has opened its first local outlet in Ashrafieh on Abdel Wahab Al Inglizi Street.
The restaurant’s French location is in the Stock Exchange District-Paris II. It also includes a bakery-sandwich bar, a catering service, and a mezze bar.
The local restaurant is located in the same building as La Posta restaurant. It occupies a space of 500 square meters.
“Investment in the restaurant was under $2 million,” said Liza Asseily, co-owner.
The concept is owned by Liza and Ziad Asseily. Chafic El Khazen, founder of Sky Bar, is also associated with the project.
The restaurant opened its first branch outside France in 2011 on Qatar’s Pearl Island.
Asseily said that after Beirut, a new outlet is expected to open in the Galeries La Fayette, Paris. Expansion in the Arab World will be on hold for the moment.
