Fauchon, the world-renowned French gourmet caterer, recently opened a booth serving pastries and coffee at the Monoprix supermarket in Naccache. The brand is planning another similar booth in the City Mall. Others will be announced at a later stage.

The caterer opened its 220 square meter flagship boutique months ago in Gemmayzeh. “Opening the store gave us a backbone from which we can expand easier and we are looking to open new locations in the Greater Beirut area,” said Johanna Abchee, General Manager at Fauchon - Lebanon.

The Fauchon boutique provides French gourmet specialty products, pastries, a wide range of breads, and a large gift selection.

Abchee said that the difficult economic conditions are not a burden facing their expansion plans. “We found it was a good time to pursue our growth through mall stands and booths.”

The franchise was brought into Lebanon by Foodhalls, a company founded by Michel Abchee, cofounder of City Mall and ADMIC (franchise holder of the BHV and Monoprix brands).
