A new Beirut hotel, the ‘Dolphin Royal Suites’ launched a soft opening, last month. Owners Hassan and Jamal Saadeh began works six years ago on the $2 million project, located on Cleopatra Street.

The four–star hotel was accredited by Bureau Veritas, a Lebanon-based international testing and inspection certification provider. It includes 28 suites, spread over eleven floors. Suite sizes run between 64 and 200 square meters. “The hotel is designed to offer residents the most convenient service, in an attractive and strategic location,” said Mohamad Dib, Operations Manager.

He said that the hotel is now receiving clients in a soft opening phase, while the official opening is expected within the next two months.

A lobby café, restaurants, and conference rooms are in the pipeline, and will be added at a later stage.

“Our hotel facilities cater best to long-term residents, and to corporate visitors who seek the warmth of a home and the service of a hotel,” Dib said. Demand for similar concepts is high which has encouraged them to enter the market, despite current security challenges.
