Waterfront City announced, this week, the launch of its Business Park, which is comprised of 12 buildings surrounding an integrated “campus” design. The Park is expected to be complete by 2016.

The Business Park will host high-end office spaces, with functional floor plans, managed facilities, and sustainable operations. The Park stretches over 30,000 square meters of land, 18,000 square meters of which are open green spaces.

Office sizes range between 100 square meters and 1,000 square meters (an entire floor that fits eight offices). Prices start at $3,800 per square meter and vary according to the building and floor, among other specifications. The office is delivered as core and shell to the client. If a client wishes to customize the office, it would be delivered three months earlier in order for the designs and amendments to be made.

Located within Waterfront City Dbayeh, the seaside mega-development is carried out in partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Société Joseph G. Khoury et fils.

“This Business Park further benefits from the coastal city's shopping sector, numerous food and beverage venues, entertainment offerings, in addition to international hotels, adjacent health clubs and amenities,” said MAF Properties in a statement. The Park can host up to 6,000 workers and 1,600 parking spaces.

The office buildings will incorporate many features such as 24 hour on-site security, courier collection and deliveries, fiber-optic backbone (supporting high-speed Internet, video conferencing, virtual private networking for corporate users, IPTV services, public Wi-Fi, IP telephony). They are within walking distance to two luxury hotels and the City Center Mall. A diversified retail mix will be available at the ground floor levels.

MAF has also appointed M&C Saatchi MENA as its media representative. In late 2013, seven agencies pitched for this large account, as the Waterfront City will comprise residential apartments, a large retail mall, two hotels, and the Business Park, for a total investment that will exceed one billion dollars.

“We approached this brief with a clear mission: How best to communicate the uniqueness and the massive scale of this project,” said Adel Kanaan, Chief Operating Officer of M&C Saatchi.
According to Waterfront City’s Senior Development Director, Samer Bissat, “M&C Saatchi proved that their vision for Waterfront City aligned with our own.”

M&C Saatchi has a large portfolio of clients both regionally and locally, such as Qatar National Bank, Zain Telecom, Azadea, Magrabi Optical, Saudi TV, Khoury Home, Banque Libano-Française, Acres (LeMall), Fidelity, and GlobeMed.
