Byblos Gate, a project located in Mastita (Jbeil), is being developed by Span Properties, co-founded by Wissam Baroudi and Charbel Michel Sleiman. The $30 million project is in its design phase and will be completed in two years.

Byblos Gate is being built over a 40,000 square meter plot, leased from the Maronite Waqf for 20 years. The project will host restaurants, a food court, and a 6,000 m2 Cineplex. The operator has not yet been chosen. It will also feature a small shopping center that will bring in High Street brands. The project will target residents of Jounieh, Jbeil, and Batroun.

According to Alain Amm, General Manager of Span Properties, the concept of Byblos Gate is in line with the increasing number of F&B outlets on the Byblos/Tripoli highway. These include the Publicity complex, Burger King, and Zaatar w Zeit, among others.
