Project creates 50 jobs

A new shopping center by Malak for Trading was opened yesterday in the Sibline area of Iklim.

The four-story shopping center has a total built-up area of 3,000 square meters, divided into four floors. Abdel Ghani Malak, General Manager, said: “There are two underground floors that consist of two, 1,200 m2 warehouses and a parking lot for 45 vehicles.”

The total area of the land is 1,500 m2. The center will consist of a supermarket, which will occupy half of the internal space, a bakery, a pastry shop, an OMT money transfer branch, a cafeteria, an electronics store, an electric appliance department, an apparel department, and a roaster of various nuts, and coffee. Malak, which handled the contracting and construction of the $5 million project directly, will also operate the center, whose majority stores are also owned by the company.
