Cosmetics factory opened in Mtein

HIXP, a newly established company, opened a cosmetics factory in the industrial city in Mtein.

The company produces a wide range of cosmetics including hair dye, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, acetone, perfumes, and hair conditioner. The company manufactures for private labels, as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

“We aim to launch our own brand after three months,” said Pierre Abou Abdallah, partner at HIXP.

Investment in the project exceeds $1 million excluding the cost of the land. The built-up area of the factory is around 1,000 square meters.

The production capacity of hair dye reaches nine million tubes per year, shampoo nine million bottles, and acetone one million bottles. Abou Abdallah said that they will be working to a quarter of their capacity in the first stage.

HIXP will export part of the production to the Arab countries.
