Saccal has won a tender to establish a four megawatt power plant at the terminal of Port of Tripoli (PoT).

“The plant’s production will be expanded to 12 megawatts gradually,” said Antoine Amatouri, Chairman of Gulftainer, the terminal’s operator.

The contract was valued at $1.5 million. Generators have been installed and are being commissioned. They will be used to power the terminal’s cranes, according to Amatouri.
