Solidere elects
a different board
New board members include Nader Hariri, Mohammed Choucair, and Ghazi Youssef

Solidere shareholders have changed the composition of its board. Nasser Chammaa was reelected Chairman of the Board of Directors by the general Assembly, which has a three year tenure.

The ten-member board of directors is now made up of Nader Hariri, former Chief of Staff of Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Mohammed Choucair, Chairman of the Economic Organizations, and former MP Ghazi Youssef.

Other new members include Hassan Kabbani, Ricardo Rahme, Tarek Chehab, and Ziad Abou Jamra.

Makram Abboud, Raja Salameh, and Raphael Sabbagha were reelected as board members.

Outgoing members include General Manager Mounir Douaidy, former Vice Chairmen Fadi Boustany and Maher Beydoun, and Maher Daouk, Joseph Asseily, Pierre Kamel, and Basile Yared.

Ziad Abou Jamra, General Manager of Fidus, part of the SGBL group of companies, and its chairman Antoun Sehnaoui are increasing their stakes in Solidere, and aim to have a controlling interest.

Chammaa has been chairman of the company since its inception in 1994.

The new Vice Chairmen have not been designated yet.
