Industrialists to submit list to Central Bank

for liquidity to buy more raw materials

The Ministry of Industry (MoI) announced that factories producing medicines, food, and necessary goods will start operating at full capacity starting today (Monday March 30).

Other industries will be allowed to resume production in a subsequent phase, the MoI said. There will be strict adherence to preventive and protection measures.

Imad Hoballah, Minister of Industry said: “We will need additional quantities of the necessary consumables that the factories will provide. The government supports the industrial sector to continue production. The necessary raw materials are secured until now, and we asked the industrialists to provide us with a list of their needs in this regard to secure liquidity with the Central Bank so that they can buy them.”
