Baakline Prime Center, a commercial center, will open in Baakline at the end of this summer.
The Jordanian company, Farhan and Fuad Abu Hamdan Construction Co., owned by the Amman-based Lebanese investor Fouad Abu Hamdan, is the project’s developer and contractor. The center will include furnished apartments, retail shops, wedding venues, restaurants and coffee shops.
Investment in the center is $3 million. It has a total built-up area of 6,000 square meters, including an underground level and three floors.
Abu Hamdan said that the shops are for lease. Lease prices have not been set yet. Rentals of retail shops in the region could fetch up to $40/m2 per year.
“We have great demand from clothing shops and restaurants, but we haven’t signed any contracts yet,” said Abu Hamdan.
