Samer Karam likens creating a startup to “going down the rabbit hole” in Lewis Carroll’s Alice and Wonderland.

It’s a journey of highs, lows and colourful characters, and that’s why the entrepreneur from Beirut has called his latest venture, Alice. Though “Phoenix” might have been a more suitable name for his new startup, which has grown from the ashes of his well-publicized, but now closed accelerator program Seeqnce.
