Cherry Blossom, a new boutique hotel and resort in El Qrayeh village, Bhamdoun region, is expected to open in May.

The resort stretches over 18,000 square meters with a hotel consisting of four floors, each having access to outdoor terraces. The hotel has a total built-up area of approximately 5,000 square meters.

Two floors are dedicated to the hotel’s 23 suites, 21 of which are executive suites, ranging between 60 and 70 square meters, and two are imperial suites comprising two master bedrooms with a living area and guest bathroom.

The project includes a restaurant, a pool, and an outdoor terrace. The resort also offers an outdoor wedding and event venue, which can cater to up to 550 guests.

Investment in the project reached around $5 million. It is owned by D.I.G (Daou Investment Group), a family business chaired by Marwan Daou. He is also the Chairman of Civiarch Sarl, a real estate developer and a contractor with a diverse portfolio of residential projects in Beirut.

Daou said that Bhamdoun is a highly attractive summer destination, especially for Arab visitors, who will benefit from year-round access to the Cherry Blossom resort. “Bhamdoun has always been an icon for Lebanese tourism, and we are aiming at bringing its legacy back to the region.”

“The location makes it a destination not only for leisure guests but also for companies and institutions looking for places to conduct board meetings, seminars or workshops,” said Daou.
